Brine Mix 10oz. Long used as a way of preserving meats before refrigeration brining is an excellent way to insure moist and flavorful roasts. It's simple to use. Just prepare the brine. In a very large stockpot combine the brine mix with 2 gallons water and bring to a boil. Remove the pot from the heat and cool to room temperature. Refrigerate the brine until well chilled (under 40 degrees), about 4 to 5 hours.
When the brine is completely chilled, place the poultry or meat in the brine, and marinate for at least 12 hours in the refrigerator
Brine includes:
Kosher Salt, Light Brown Sugar, Allspice, Cloves, Thyme, Bay Leaves, Rosemary, and Juniperberries.
