This Nielsen-Massey Madagascar Bourbon Pure Vanilla Bean Paste is made from the Nielsen-Massey Pure Madagascar Bourbon vanilla extract and vanilla pod seeds. It has a thick consistency similar to molasses and visually enhances the presentation with the actual seeds. Adds more vanilla flavor without thinning out batters or sauces. Ideal for preparing crepes, crème brulees and ice cream.
To replace vanilla extract measure the same amount of Madagascar Bourbon Pure Vanilla Bean Paste. One tablespoon of paste is equivalent to one whole vanilla bean.
